POV: Brushing your toddler’s teeth is an Olympic sport 😭🦷
The head turning, the screaming, the tiny legs kicking like they’re fighting for their life… a lot of us been there. But, this one posture changed the game for me and my daughter. (Though not immediately😂)
Now there’s less drama. No more wrestling (mostly 😂). Just calmly, slowly, and we’re done.
I’ve been using this for the longest time, and it’s honestly a lifesaver.
Here’s the crazy part… it’s just like life.
Sometimes the things that matter most (clean teeth, big goals, hard conversations, healing) come with resistance. The kicking. The “no”. The chaos.
And the only way through isn’t to fight harder… it’s to create stability. Get low, secure the base, hold steady with love, and get the job done anyway.
This little hack taught me that.

Sometimes it’s not that the spark disappears overnight it’s that people stop nurturing what kept it alive.
Six years is enough time to build something real, but also enough time for complacency to creep in if both sides stop choosing each other daily.
At the same time, feelings do change, and forcing what’s gone can do more harm than good. The hard part is being honest early enough instead of pretending until everything breaks down.
Either way, communication is where respect should start and end.
