@ProgressiveRug Yet another appalling decision. The sport is becoming a mockery. Yes player welfare is important but this is just a rugby incident. There is nothing to be learnt with the ridiculous system of ‘tackle school’. Stop trying to control the uncontrollable elements of the game
Well this paper, certainly challenges my bias, excellent study, well designed, impressive list of contributors/authors. Really no surprise steroids outperforming placebo early, but differences at 6/24 months did surprise me, and no adverse reactions! https://t.co/h26jx3oSeU

@MRheumy @DavidGoyette@DrJN_SportsMed My understanding is the same as @DrJN_SportsMed the beneficial effect seems to be related to the steroid. This doesn’t mean it’s not an option though. Have you considered ESWT?

@physiojack @MRheumy @AStretch_Physio@RheumatologyUK@DrAiLynTan@KarlGaffney1 Brilliant summary of observations. I have definitely come across a few that you’ve listed. I think autoimmune disorders are under recognised across multiple professions. I have difficulty getting GPs on board with my referrals when I suspect autoimmune involvement in heel pain
