I am mad sorry? And I do not care whether the rumors are true or false. The June 30 statement alone was enough to make me feel betrayed.

They cancelled a core character immediately after assuring players that no character would be deleted so easily. Within days, they bowed to prejudice and harassment, while ignoring a month of global petitions, offline support events, and charity projects carried out in Valko’s name.

The global audience was never treated as part of the decision at all.

So what exactly does “global game” mean to them? What is the purpose of a global server if overseas players are treated like outsiders whose voices, money, and emotional investment do not matter?

Love and Deepspace was my first Chinese otome game, and I used to speak proudly about it. Now I regret trusting a company that appears to prioritize the loudest bullies over the players who genuinely supported its creative vision.

Creative direction should not be controlled by mob pressure. Rewarding this behavior creates a dangerous precedent, scream loudly enough, weaponize accusations, and a company will erase whatever you dislike. ☹️

Let’s not forget that players were robbed of promised core content. We didn’t lose something minor, we lost a whole character who was meant to be essential to the universe.

People are getting frustrated because they think "if the loss in revenue for THIS WHOLE MONTH wasn't enough to force their hand, then speaking with our wallet isn't enough!"

What those people fail to understand is: Businesses have built in runway. A single month of bad sales is a signal, not an immediate killer. Infold won't bankrupt over a month of bad revenue. They won't EOS over a single month of bad revenue. If they are like every other competent business out there (pauses for laughter), then they have a good war chest of money to get them through without having to do a damn thing, before it gets DIRE.

For example, the company I work for knows that if we do LITERALLY NOTHING and stop gaining a single cent in revenue, we can continue operating normally for 3 years.

NORMALLY. For THREE YEARS.

And we are nowhere near as big as Infold as a company.

That's not at all to say that Infold will string us along for YEARS (that would be actually insane), but that's to paint the picture that while what we're doing is EFFECTIVE, it doesn't necessarily mean it's going to be FAST.

There are A LOT of unknowns at play, but what we DO KNOW is that businesses at their core care about revenue.

A drop this big is a huge signal. Even if it doesn't force their hand to move right away, we have to OUTLAST THEM, because right now the game MIGHT be that they're waiting to see if we get tired and give up and go back to spending like before.

But if we OUTLAST THEM and their revenue CONTINUES to tank/plateau at a historic low for the company, they will have no choice but to address it. Because while they do have runway, the goal of a business is not to burn THROUGH that runway. It's to grow profit and continue to pad the runway and expand operations.

It's a game of stamina that we're playing with them at this point.

So the TL;DR is:
* Don't spend.
* If you can help it, don't log in.
* If you have to pull on Caleb do it with saved resources and DON'T. SPEND.

Keeping consistent pressure on their bottom line is what will be the strongest communicator with them and is what will eventually force them to act.

Alright. I managed to gather my thoughts after all my tears and explosive anger, and I came to a conclusion. As always, this is just my opinion.

There's a reason why a Caleb solo banner is dropping instead of Rafayel's (many people have pointed out that we've already had a Caleb solo banner), or even the myth we were all expecting to drop.

So, based on these assumptions, I can't help but think this might be a rushed product, and that right now we're watching a sinking ship where the people on board try to stay afloat and make some money in the meantime, while they figure out a proper resolution.

Having said that, your anger, sadness, and frustration are completely valid; you have every right to express them in whatever way helps you get them out of your system. Nothing is more important than our well-being, so feel that anger, acknowledge it, let it out, but please try to find a way to channel it that is actually helpful for your mental health.

However, no matter how much some of you want to scream, I WILL NOT CONDONE OR ENCOURAGE AN AGGRESSIVE APPROACH. We are already hurting them where it matters most, and let's be honest, a MONTH of low revenue is just a slap on the wrist for them considering how much they've earned.

Right now is the moment when they're testing the waters after all this silence and the lack of new events. The SuperTopics and the weird way they've been acting on social media are a perfect example of that, IF we want to prove that we're serious, this is where we can make the biggest difference.

Remember when some antis said that the low revenue didn't count because we had no new banners? Fair enough. THIS is the moment to show them that we are dead serious and that we WILL NOT give them our money.

I know some of you are sad or disappointed. But personally, I'm angrier than ever, and this anger just keeps growing every day. So if anything, this is the time to make more noise than ever, with hashtags, with our voices, and with NO MONEY.

Do not lose sight of what's most important here. Stop spending, keep documenting, keep speaking, keep demanding answers because we obviously deserve them, but that's it.
