-Explosion cone angle reduced: 35° → 27°

The tighter shrapnel spread should cover the target area more effectively, while the shorter cooldown makes this stratagem available more often!

Three light-penetration shotguns are getting damage buffs!

SG-8 Punisher

- Damage: 405 → 486
- Durable damage: 108 → 135

SG-225 Breaker

- Damage: 330 → 396
- Durable damage: 66 → 88

SG-225SP Breaker Spray&Pray

- Damage: 240 → 288
- Durable damage: 64 → 80

These buffs aim to make the shotguns hit harder and take down enemies faster.

🚨 HELLDIVERS 2: SICKLE VARIANTS GETTING BUFFED!

The LAS-16 Sickle and LAS-17 Double-Edge Sickle are receiving changes to make them more practical and responsive in combat!

1) LAS-16 Sickle

- Faster firing startup: 0.5s → 0.33s
- Faster heat cooldown: 1.33s → 0.66s
- Reduced heat buildup per projectile: 1.15 → 0.95

2)LAS-17 Double-Edge Sickle

- Faster firing startup: 0.5s → 0.33s
- Faster heat cooldown: 1.33s → 0.66s

These changes aim to make the Sickle variants feel more responsive, with quicker firing and less downtime between bursts.

🚨 HELLDIVERS 2: PLAS-39 ACCELERATOR RIFLE BUFFS

The PLAS-39 Accelerator Rifle is getting improvements to make it a more effective precision weapon!

Changes:

- Faster Reload: 3.3s → 2.7s
- Reduced Stagger Strength: 20 → 15

These changes should make reloading less punishing and help Helldivers land follow-up shots on enemy weak spots without staggering enemies out of position.

HELLDIVERS 2: Legendary Warbond Weapons Are Getting Buffed!

Arrowhead is increasing damage and improving recoil on several Killzone and Halo Legendary Warbond weapons to compensate for their lack of weapon customization.

Key changes:

M90A Shotgun:
Damage 605 → 726; durable damage 220 → 264.

MA5C Assault Rifle:
Reduced recoil across multiple stats and increased durable damage 16 → 20.

StA-52 Assault Rifle:
Spare magazines 6 → 7, with significantly reduced recoil.

StA-11 SMG:
Damage 90 → 100, durable damage 18 → 20, reduced recoil, and ergonomics 80 → 90.

The goal is to make these weapons more competitive with customizable alternatives.

Liberty Day approaches, and with it, the responsibility to honor the memories of fallen heroes. The Super Earth Government has passed a bill authorizing the construction of a memorial worthy of their sacrifices: the Malevelon Creek Memorial & Interrogation Center for Human Rights.

As the name implies, the Memorial would honor the fallen not just in thought, but in action: through enhanced interrogation of dissidents and enemies of Freedom.

However, wanton aggression from all 3 enemy factions threatens this project. Their occupation of Super Earth territories rich in rare metals, crude oil, and radioactive isotopes, among others, steals from the prosperity of all. This is an insult to the memory of our heroes. The Helldivers are ordered to liberate FURY, ESKER, and ZEA RUGOSIA.

Helldivers 2's New Anti-Cheat Could Break Some Mods

Arrowhead has announced that Helldivers 2 will transition from GameGuard to Easy Anti-Cheat on October 20.

The update aims to crack down on cheat mods that provide unfair advantages, manipulate the Galactic War, or negatively impact other players.

What this means for players:

- Cheat mods will face stricter security measures.
- Some gameplay-affecting mods may stop working.
- Cosmetic mods may require updates from their creators.

Arrowhead says the goal is to protect game integrity and ensure a fair experience for all Helldivers.

Thanks to the Helldivers' philanthropic bravery and altruistic lethality, the AIR (Anti-Illuminate Restitution) initiative has been funded to its maximum level.
