Viewpoints just above #HellfirePass allow visitors to see the dramatic cutting through the mountain with deepest point reaching 25 m. This pass was carved during #WorldWarII by prisoners of war and Asian laborers for the #BurmaThaiRailway to pass through. #Kanchanaburi

7metre Embankment is another spot you can visit on the long walking trail at #HellfirePass. This was built from earth & rocks where ground level had to be raised to accommodate the railway and maintain gradient. #BurmaThaiRailway #Kanchanaburi #WWII
