Years ago, when I warned that Canada was heading toward decline, many dismissed it as fear-mongering and “conspiracy.”

But time has a way of proving who was sounding the alarm and who was asleep at the wheel.

The RCMP’s newly released Whole-of-Government Five-Year Trends Report confirms what many of us already knew, that our institutions are losing public trust, inflation and inequality are deepening, and the social fabric that holds this country together is beginning to tear.

We’re now hearing even the Prime Minister and former Bank of Canada officials quietly prepare Millennials and Gen Zs for an austere future. One where home ownership becomes a dream of the past, replaced by government-owned rental blocks.

If this trajectory continues, Canada could face food insecurity, civil unrest, and the kind of instability no democracy should ever invite.

It’s time to tell Canadians the truth.
We cannot rebuild trust by hiding from reality.

The next generation deserves honesty, and leadership that prepares, not pretends.

Shooting animals in the dark in front of their flockmates goes against agency guidelines & likely caused illegal suffering.

The attack on “slogans” reveals something deeper about modern politics... a resentment toward simplicity.

Because simplicity exposes accountability.

“Axe the tax” can be measured. “Build baby build”, "Elbows Up" cannot.

Bureaucracies thrive on ambiguity; leaders who speak plainly are a threat to that structure.

So when they call him a “sloganeer,” what they really mean is: he’s saying out loud what we’ve spent years dressing up in policy language.

Also... if the biggest comeback to Pierre Poilievre is that he's a "sloganeer" (as if being able to communicate your intent in easy-to-understand language is a bad thing), we're doing just fine. Now, if you want to start critiquing policy ideas... we may be able to have a real conversation!
