@AliceTTYL@DetectiveSpade_ I think plenty would be happening; it would just be happening to Frank, with some sort of resolution at the end.
You should watch Man Down if you haven't seen it to get the premise. It also does a better job of highlighting the PTSD side of combat.
@EdwardJDavey Hey Ed, maybe if you weren’t busy fucking around doing side quests like zip-lining and kayaking, you could put together a decent political party that might actually put up a fight. But you won’t—so give it a rest!
@mikesmith187 Couldn't agree more, there's nothing better than the endless possibilities when starting a new project. It is literally the best part of the entire design process.
@katylcowan Everything takes time. You might not be working on the most exciting projects straight out of the gate, be patient, be respectful, watch what the other designers are doing and ask questions rather than being upset that you're not doing the 'cool' stuff.
If you email someone asking for their availability and then don't respond to them afterward, not even with a "Thanks for letting me know; those dates don't work for us," or "We might need some help," it's rude, right? Or is it just me?
I'm currently sitting on so many projects that need turning into case studies and little side projects I've started and not finished, but for some reason I can't bring myself to do any of it. I'm just really unmotivated at the moment and I'm not sure why!
Thought. There are graphic professionals with a salary who don't know the difference between dpi, pixels, physical size and blur. It reminded me that when it comes to money, looking smart is much more important than actually being smart.
The number of times I've had those days, and then spent hours beating myself up about them. We need to have more conversations about this and how we can prepare for them when working to tight deadlines.
Some days I can design a whole visual identity in one sitting. I’m feeling good! I’m excited! I’m inspired!
Other days I stare at my screen for a couple of hours only to push a few pixels on a page before closing my computer and walking away.
Both types of days are necessary ☁️
