Am I tripping, or is there a faint vertical shape around the 12 o'clock position, just below the bright edge of the planet? ๐
Almost looks like a pale purple-white spire poking through the clouds, with some glowing dots there too.
Possible Icecrown tease for the distant future, or am I just coping? ๐ I know something has to happen with Arthas/Northrend at some point if we ever get there. Just not sure what the plans are.
I noticed the glows representing Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms, but also caught a glimmer of lights further north.
Could be absolutely nothing, but it caught my eye. Then again, I just woke up. ๐
Sick AMV trailer nonetheless with WoW Forever! ๐๐ป
I think WoW Forever has a racial identity issue right now.
Some people took my last tweet as an attack on Horde, but as someone who's played both factions for years, that's not the case. I will be playing both factions this time around regardless.
My point is simple: these changes should've been tested during beta.
I think it's cool that Tauren are getting more movement speed, Dwarves are receiving adjustments for Shaman compensation, and Human Priests are becoming more appealing.
There is still concerns I have regarding all of the changes that being said.
Now, if this is truly the final racial tuning pass before launch, why wasn't it included during the extra beta days we had?
Regardless of which faction benefits, I just don't think changes this significant should be introduced without proper player testing.
I see your point, but early materials will be in high demand. We already had players farming areas they shouldn't have reached during beta, even before the Tauren speed changes.
My concern is why something this significant wasn't tested when we had weeks of beta to do so. And you understand me now so I respect you at least seeing that point. The devs wanted us testing everything, so I feel this should've been considered beforehand.
The game will move on, of course. I just find the decision questionable, that's all.
I'm not sure how I feel about these racial changes in WoW Forever.
And this isn't coming from Alliance bias. I'm genuinely questioning the direction here. Are these changes based on endgame data, class performance, or something else?
Humans are losing Crit% for more Spirit, but Holy Paladins already rely heavily on Crit, especially with Illumination being nerfed to accommodate a Shock-focused playstyle.
Meanwhile, Tauren are getting even faster. Are we considering how that interacts with movement speed consumables and boot enchant? Hunters and Druids could become incredibly oppressive in open-world PvP.
I worry these changes could push even more players toward Horde.
I'd really like to see the reasoning behind these decisions, because racial balance deserves a much closer look before launch.

Once again, my concern is giving a class movement speed comparable to a baseline 60% mount without properly testing it during beta. We had weeks to test changes like this in real gameplay, so why introduce something this significant after beta?
Sure, it's great for leveling, but it's also a dream scenario for bots farming materials faster and potentially influencing the AH economy even more.
No offense, amigo, but this absolutely should've been tested before launch. That's what beta was for. This change came completely out of left field, and I think it's fair to question it.
I enjoy both Horde and Ally, I played both for years now. It just seems sudden.
Thats a fair thing to say.
I never said Alliance wasn't better. My concern is the reasoning behind giving already mobile classes even more movement speed, especially when you consider things like open-world PvP and bots potentially benefiting from it. Yes, maybe the racial needed some tuning but idk if 60% which is mount speed the move for that. Hunters are going to do very wicked things open world.
Beyond that, Human Holy Paladins are taking a significant hit. We already have some of the lowest HPS/HPM among healers, and Illumination is already gutted to accommodate a meme Shockadin playstyle. It's cool on paper, but other healing specs aren't dealing with the same trade-offs.
I'm not against changes or other classes doing well. I'm questioning the direction and long-term impact.
I genuinely don't see these changes lasting as they are. I am happy they compensated for Dwarves getting something, at the cost of Taurens losing hit which is interesting..
Overall, I think we're going to see some pretty questionable balance issues down the road if these stay around. Mark my words.
I'm a little concerned that RP-PvP servers in WoW Forever could eventually suffer the same fate as Crusader Strike did in Season of Discovery, where the RP identity slowly fades and the realm essentially becomes a regular PvP server.
I genuinely want RP-PvP servers to succeed, but I think the only way to preserve that identity is by actually enforcing the RP ruleset.
The challenge? You can't realistically micromanage thousands of players, and not everyone is interested in roleplaying when WoW is primarily driven by PvE and PvP content.
I know some streamers plan to embrace RP with their communities, and I genuinely hope it works out.
But I'm skeptical about its long-term sustainability. We've seen communities demand certain features, only for the excitement to fade a few months later.
I hope WoW Forever proves me wrong. I'd love to see a thriving RP-PvP community that actually lasts.
We'll see how it plays out ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ
Today's WoW Forever Podcast was VERY interesting.
The developers shared some important insights while addressing the future of content beyond Level 30 once the beta concludes.
But I still have some big questions.
What happens to certain classes and specs at Level 60? What's the long-term vision for class balance, viability, and keeping the community satisfied?
More importantly, once the meta is established, what prevents players from prioritizing only the strongest classes and specs while leaving others behind?
These are important conversations worth having as we move closer to launch.
I dive into these questions and much more in today's episode found below! Much luv amigos ๐๐ป

Here is my message to all WoW Forever players before I rest tonight amigos.
Stop worrying about a Level 30 tier list. Tier lists are snapshots in time, and we all know how much changes at 60 in Classic WoW.. I am more than sure much change will come in WoW Forever, in regards to PVE & PVP.
We donโt know the full picture yet: set bonuses, gearing, itemization, or optimal builds. Don't depend on Sims to define your class choice. Pick the class YOU want to have fun on. Relax, enjoy the leveling journey, and have fun unlocking your abilities. We can properly judge balance or heck even a *tier list* at 60 once we have all the pieces.
For now, enjoy the final days of beta, then take that much-needed two-week vacation before the official release on November 4th.
36-minute breakdown on the entire beta that I stood up to 530am working on for WoW Forever โ๐ป
Covered the pros and cons mainly I had from experience so far. Looking forward to the official game on November 4th.

@tiffplzz Yea lay on hands every battle was something much different when your allowed the full kit to be used.
But overall I would say a lot of other classes are doing good to. Warlocks were popping off last night. Same with Shamans.
Tbh man, I really don't like seeing the comments under @nohitjerome replies.
Did he mess up and take it too far? Sure. But people make mistakes, and he was obviously bummed about how things went. Jerome also never felt the pressure of high stake pvp and was taking this serious throughout the week.
Dude was working his ASS off, staying up late, running his own tournaments, and putting in hours to deliver content for the community. People don't realize how much work goes into creating content consistently. If you think it's easy, try doing it yourself.
Jerome, you pushed too far, but that doesn't make you a bad person. You had a bad night, and I hope you learn from it and keep moving forward.
Much luv, dog. ๐ฏ
Top three biggest crash outs from $100,000 wow forever Dueling Tournament.
Some great entertainment here, though I didn't come out of these crashouts looking great..
Came down to the wire with this one! I definitely couldโve shielded earlier, but I donโt normally play Priest and Iโm still learning. ๐
That being said, we finished the tournament 3-3 overall! ๐๐ป
Had a great time competing and being part of everything. I know thereโs been a lot of drama surrounding the tournament lately, but at the end of the day, I love dueling and canโt wait to get back on Paladin and keep improving.
WoW Forever is gonna be a fun time! ๐ฏ
The PVP Tournament is about to go down in WoW Forever!
It's been a fun BETA so far and looking forward to the official November 4th release ๐๐ป
Good luck to all competitors ๐๐ป
