Running into Legendary filmmaker John Landis, director of An American Werewolf in London, The Blues Brothers, Trading Places, Coming to America and of course, Michael Jackson’s Thriller Video. And yeah, he invited us to a screening of a 35mm print of Trading Places. Big deal.

Moving forward we really should make the distinction between Afrofuturism and Africanfuturism. Especially when it comes to @Nnedi’s works, and other works that exist outside the African-American narrative.
