What we are seeing is IBM post binary combinatorial encoding of "Happy National AI Day."

Over 2,300 years ago, in his work Chandashastra, the Indian scholar Acharya Pingala developed a systematic binary method to classify and enumerate Sanskrit poetic meters. He divided syllables into two categories:

Laghu (light) - mapped to 0

Guru (heavy) - mapped to 1

And it represents the earliest known explicit use of binary combinatorial encoding. 2000+ years later, Boole, after whom 'Boolean logic' is named, created a similar system and logic using 1 and 0.

Interesting to note that his wife, Mary Everest Boole, explicitly claimed that he and Charles Babbage got their ideas from Indian logic in her work "Indian thought and western science in nineteenth century."

But his possible knowledge of Indian works on logic and linguistics is denied now completely as "only his wife claimed, we don't have any evidence he read Indian works."

Anyway, what you see here and what is being used now as the Binary system and encoding (running much of computing) was already in use 2300 years ago in India.

Btw, Mary Everest Boole is niece of George Everest, the guy after whom Sagarmatha is named by westerners as their own discovery - like Victoria Falls and the Americas were said to be 'discovered' 10s of thousands of years after Africans and Native Americans :)

On second thought, I must say again, road rage is a zero-sum game for both parties. Legal procedures are equally harsh on the victims — it's like adding insult to injury. The best way to handle it is to smile and move on. Give the rowdies a long rope; they will eventually hang themselves. 99.99% of incidents can be prevented with your attitude, and this is based on my personal experience. Nashik Assault Case: A New Video Surfaces Of Attackers Chasing Tourists For 20 Kilometers

Her name is Sonia Meena.

She is a young officer, still in the early years of her career. She seized the trucks of one of the most feared mining mafias in her state. In return, she got a death threat. She kept going to court to give evidence against him anyway.

She came from Rajasthan, cleared the civil services examination in her early twenties, and was posted into the Madhya Pradesh cadre.

She was handed the kind of postings that break people, districts where the sand and mining mafia runs a parallel government, where trucks strip the riverbeds through the night and everyone, from the local strongman to the officials meant to stop him, has quietly agreed to look away.

She did not look away.

As a sub divisional magistrate, she went after the illegal sand mining directly. She impounded the loaded trucks of a powerful mining operator, a man used to being untouchable.

She did not accept the usual arrangement where the raid happens, the fine is paid, and the trucks quietly return to the river the next night.

So the threats began. The mafia boss she had taken on was reported to have threatened her openly. A formal death threat followed, serious enough that the state had to increase her security.

Here is the part that tells you who she is. Even under threat, she kept travelling to the other district to submit her evidence in court, in person, so the case against him would not collapse. The easy thing was to fall ill, to be busy, to let the file go cold. She refused.

She is not a famous name. She has no film about her. She is simply one of those officers who took the oath seriously, in a system that often punishes exactly that.

They thought a young woman in her first postings would be easy to frighten. They were wrong.

A family of eight had gone for a Sunday outing to the Bhavli Dam and waterfall area in Igatpuri town in Nashik. Little did they know their picnic would turn into a nightmare.

A group of men allegedly sexually harassed one of the women in the group. When her husband objected, the men assaulted the family, chased them for nearly 20 kilometers and attacked their car with sticks and iron rods.

The dispute began when two men at the site allegedly whistled at and sexually harassed a woman from the family. When the family objected, the accused turned aggressive.

"We had gone for a picnic. We had our food, played in the water, and then we were leaving. That's when two people there called out my name and started harassing me," the victim said while narrating her family's ordeal.

I scolded the men. My husband also confronted them and asked why they were harassing a woman in a public place."
The angry men then abused the family and were soon joined by others who ran food stalls nearby.

"Soon there were 8-10 men and they all charged at us," the victim said.
The family tried to pacify the situation and walk away, but the men were in no mood to let go.

An argument ensued and the group continued abusing the family.
"After a little confrontation, we tried to leave. When we moved in our car, they blocked us and started smashing our car windows. They then chased us for nearly 20 kilometers. They damaged our car completely with iron rods. The car is completely destroyed."

There were children in the car when the men attacked it.

"The children are still so scared," she said.

On the family's complaint, Igatpuri police have detained nine of the 10 accused and are questioning them. A hunt is on for the remaining one accused.

Police have also said that one of the accused has a prior murder case against him.

The family also alleged that the men snatched a gold chain from the neck of the victim's husband during the tussle.

One member also lost her mobile phone. Police are trying to trace the location of the phone.

They tried to leave, but their car was chased by molesters armed with weapons who eventually damaged it. This happened in progressive Maharashtra, in broad daylight, under BJP rule. Imagine a small young child alone in the vicinity of molesters. No wonder we are seeing so many rape and murder cases of girls and women. India is not for women.
