I'm restarting my life at 27.

Income is down to 20% of what it was in 2025. But not worrying now as I have some savings.

Switching career from marketing to software dev.

Here is my story so far:

For years I had everything I needed to succeed. Except FOCUS.

I was spending 7 to 8 hours a day on social media.
7 hours. 8 hours. Sometimes more. Then the regret of wasting time. Then sleep. Then the same thing the next day. This happened for monthh, for years.

I tried every solution I could find. To-do apps helped me plan. App blockers helped me stop.
But they were separate tools solving separate pieces of the same broken puzzle.
What I needed was something that connected them. Something that stepped in at the exact moment I reached for distraction and showed me what I was giving up.

So I built it myself.

@wickedguro if I were in this situation, I would do something in the physical world. I will take a break from the online world. I would not necessarily do any business but maybe gardening, some farming that I am interested in.

AI could create massive economic growth and massive labor disruption at the same time.

5 key points from him about hypergrowth and job disruption:

1: Powerful AI could create hypergrowth.

If AI can do most cognitive tasks better than humans, it could accelerate science, technology, operations, and business creation at a speed we have never seen before.

2: AI may not just assist workers. It may substitute for them.

Previous technologies automated specific tasks. AI is different because it broadly replicates human cognitive work: writing, coding, analysis, research, support, strategy, and more.

3: Growth may no longer guarantee jobs.

In the past, technology destroyed some jobs but created new ones. The risk now is that AI can also do many of the new jobs that appear.

4: The economy could get richer while workers lose power.

Dario warns about a world stuck on the “hypergrowth, hyper-inequality” setting. GDP rises. Productivity rises. Company profits rise. But the benefits may not automatically reach everyone.

5: The problem is not only money.

Even if people receive income support, humans still need “meaning, purpose, and agency.” Work is not only income. It is identity, status, direction, and contribution.
