@mrandrewmoon When did Tornante's modus operandi switch from that which they set out at The Guildhall? Clearly they have not fulfilled a number of their objectives from back then.
@pn_neil_allen The key thing is that it is brought to a head asap, so we can all move on. The owners also need to communicate what their strategy is to prevent us treading water and inevitably suffering relegation. Fans deserve better than that based on their original sales pitch.
@pn_neil_allen Not sure how I would feel if I was Mous and he ends up going there. Would feel a bit like sloppy seconds.
Probably not a great look for Tornante either way.
@pompeyshaun1986@GBPFC1984 Basically everything we expected when Michael Eisner stood up at The Guildhall. Instead we have Trust style ownership with a veneer.
@pn_neil_allen Watch him go elsewhere and be worth Β£5m+ in a year or two. All transfers are fraught with risk, but for me, the major issue is transition from a different country and culture. I have looked at Caballero at times and thought he is a higher quality player than most of his teammates
@danielstorey85 I dont think we expect extra. It is the sales pitch that was made to the fans in 2017 by Michael Eisner and feeling that they have come up short.
@mrandrewmoon What do Pompey need to do to avoid history repeating itself next season and do the ownership have what it takes to make sure it doesn't happen?
@henrywinter As pointed out below Henry, no Pompey fan would dispute Eisner's comments are fair. However, his pitch to the supporters trust when he bought the club has proved to have as many holes as a sieve. Most Pompey fans feel a bit duped.
