What me? A nobody on Twitter. What more? Football, sci-fi and fantasy are close to my heart as is hate for ruSSia. Ever increasingly. Bonk on | @foldingathome
We got rid of checkout staff at supermarkets, now you do it.
Prices went up
We got rid of films, music, game discs, now you own it as long as they let you
Prices went up.
Now AI is bringing the same, terrible services, no jobs
The only thing that goes up are their profits
Pretty neat seeing a missile I was told doesn't exist hit targets I was told it could never reach four years into a war I was assured would be over in just a few weeks.
Elon has donated at least $350 million to MAGA Republicans and Donald Trump's political operation.
A large share of the Musk Foundation's grants has gone to organizations closely tied to himself, his employees, or his businesses.
Elon is Lex Luthor.
Pete Hegseth is removing or blocking the promotions of all military officers who he has determined would not participate in an illegal pro-Trump self-coup (auto-coup) in 2028.
You can believe me now or believe me in 2028.
Either way, stop seeing what Hegseth is doing as random.
Why so many Ukrainians speak russian? Let me explain.
But first, let me ask you a question: Why do Irish and Scotts speak English, Catalans and Basques speak Spanish, Bretons speak French, etc. You probably know the short answer. But let me put a longer one. Ukrainian language was banned by russia 134 times! Here are most notable events:
1720: A decree by Tsar Peter I banned the printing of books in Ukraine.
1753: A decree by Catherine II prohibited teaching in the Ukrainian language.
1768: A decree from the Synod of the russian Orthodox Church called for the confiscation of Ukrainian primers from the population.
1775: Closure of Ukrainian schools after russian troops destroyed the Zaporizhian Sich.
1830-1840s: russification of Ukraine intensified. Even the very name "Ukraine" was prohibited to be used.
1889: At an archaeological congress in Kyiv, it was permitted to read papers "in all languages except Ukrainian."
1895: A ban on Ukrainian children's literature.
1914: A ban on the Ukrainian press.
1938: Mandatory study of the russian language was introduced throughout Ukraine. At the same time, there was a mass closure of national schools, and the prestige of the Ukrainian language declined.
1926-1939: Physical deportations of Ukrainian activists accused of nationalism. Four family members on my mother’s side were deported.
1929: Newly printed dictionary of Ukrainian was prohibited.
1960s: Arrests and extermination of the young generation of Ukrainian intelligentsia.
130 years ago, Ukrainian-speaking area was not limited by Ukraine, but also some parts of russia and Belarus spoke it (see the red area, that's the result of russian Empire census in 1897, when people identified themselves by the language). So, when someone says that some region of Ukraine is “russian speaking”, read the above list again. It’s a miracle that Ukrainian language even survived, and many people sacrificed their lives for it.
Russia must get out of Ukraine with its war – we want no war. Ukraine has put forward proposals to our key partners, and Putin’s friends have also heard from us that a meeting is possible and that ending this war is possible. Russia must now take that step toward peace.

North America's newest international bridge is finished.
The roads are painted.
The customs booths are staffed.
The lights are on.
But not a single car can use it.
The Gordie Howe International Bridge, a $6.4 billion (CAD) project connecting Michigan and Ontario, was built to ease congestion, lower shipping costs and speed up the movement of goods between the United States and Canada.
It carries enormous importance.
More than 25% of all trade between the two countries crosses at Detroit.
That means car parts.
Food.
Medical supplies.
Manufacturing equipment.
Products that eventually end up in supermarkets, dealerships and businesses across North America.
The bridge was supposed to make all of that faster and cheaper.
Instead, it sits empty.
Why?
Just before it was due to open, the Trump administration reportedly refused to issue the final federal approvals needed to connect it to Interstate 75.
Trump then demanded that Canada hand over a 50% ownership stake in the bridge, despite Canada paying for its construction under a long-standing international agreement.
Then another detail emerged.
Just weeks before the bridge was blocked, Matthew Moroun, whose family owns the aging Ambassador Bridge that currently dominates the crossing, donated $1 million to a pro-Trump Super PAC.
The new Gordie Howe Bridge was specifically designed to compete with that decades-old private monopoly.
Now the new bridge sits empty while the old bridge continues collecting tolls.
The administration insists its actions are about protecting American interests.
Others see something very different.
Because this isn't just about a bridge.
Every week it remains closed delays more efficient freight movement, adds costs to supply chains and creates more uncertainty for manufacturers already struggling with higher prices.
Those costs don't disappear.
They eventually reach businesses.
Then consumers.
Then your wallet.
The bridge is reportedly costing its operators around $7 million CAD every week in lost revenue while it sits unused.
It was built to move people and goods.
Instead, it has become another political bargaining chip.
And once again, ordinary people are left paying for Washington's games.
Fellas somebody out there can help and if it's not you then you must retweet this until we can get the person that can in touch with our dear Hotsnow.
RT and QT cost nothing the fella just needs to connect and NAFO can do that for him so let's get on it.
Every Russian defense facility that serves the war against Ukraine is a just target for our long-range sanctions.
Last night, FP-5 Flamingo missiles successfully struck the Titan-Barrikady facility in Volgograd. It is a major industrial complex where the enemy produces artillery systems and specialized military equipment, including components for missile launch systems used in attacks against our people. Confirmed strikes were followed by a fire on the plant's premises. I thank the warriors of our Defense Forces for their precision.
The reach of Ukraine's long-range sanctions continues to expand. And it is precisely our pressure, day after day, that lays the groundwork for a dignified peace in the end. I am grateful to every Ukrainian engineer and warrior who is making our long-range capabilities possible. Glory to Ukraine!
Fellas, we’ve got another Dutch guy in clogs joining the squad 🇳🇱🥳
Give him a follow!
This Ukraine supporter popped up after he recently bought a generator to donate to Ukraine ❤️ It’s now on its way there.🫡

¿EE.UU.? ¡No sé!
- Putin: "Any attempt to challenge the reality of Crimea being part of Russia will be regarded as an attack on our sovereignty."
🤯🧐
An attack on sovereignty occurred with this illegal temporary occupation. An attack on Ukrainian sovereignty occurred.
Crimea is legally Ukrainian territory!
The russians violated the Ukrainian constitution and international law with this illegal approach.
Crimea was, is and will be Ukraine!🇺🇦

BREAKING: Relationship between Trump and ever-present assistant who says he is “all that matters to me” blasted by her brother as “very unhealthy”!
Donald Trump’s 34-year-old personal assistant Natalie Harp has developed such an intense obsession with the 80-year-old president that even her own brother is weirded out.
In a revealing interview, Preston Harp called his sister’s relationship with Trump “very unhealthy” and said, “She’s just like his fan club.”
She has earned the nickname the “human printer” because she constantly follows Trump around with a portable printer so he can read hard copies of positive news clips so the octogenarian doesn’t have to deal with a computer screen.
Harp reportedly leaves gushing love letters in places she knows Trump will find them, including one that read “You are all that matters to me.”
According to the new book by the NYT’s Haberman and Swan, the devotion was so over-the-top it reportedly freaked out future Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, who asked herself, “Where am I?” like she had been transported to Love Island.
Trump himself has openly bragged that Harp “was the only one who loved him as much as his wife and his kids,” telling staffers she’ll never leave him.
The “aggressiveness” of Harp’s attention also reportedly raised concerns within the Secret Service, which considered her a “potential danger” to the president.
Now, we aren’t making any sordid accusations about hanky-panky between the aging Lothario who often speaks of his “type” of woman (thin and blonde) and the, er, thin and blonde Harp, but if the Chief of Staff and Secret Service both have their eyebrows raised, the brother doesn’t seem too far off in his assessment.
Though we have trouble seeing it, Trump is a larger-than-life figure that engenders deep devotion from his followers.
But if this relationship becomes a true obsession for this young lady, the Secret Service ought to be concerned for national security reasons, beyond the behavior being unprofessional in the seat of government.
Readers, what do you think of this relationship now that recent disclosures have been confirmed by multiple reliable sources and are cause for concern at the highest levels?
