Starting a thread from the beginning, of all of my helmet history graphics 1960-2007 (so far). Starting with 1960 NFL and AFL:

@Devo662 @JackHollowpoint You are out of your mind.

Apparently there is some weird controversy with the image the Falcons used as their profile picture. It's a bit of a stretch I think. Also I don't know why people keep referring to this logo that was first used in 1966 as "new".

[TMZ @TMZ]

The Atlanta Falcons just revealed their new logo ... and the early reviews are not kind ... with lots of folks comparing the look to something out of Nazi Germany.

[𝙃𝙚𝙡𝙢𝙚𝙩 𝘼𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙩 @HelmetAddict]

@Devo662 @JackHollowpoint Do you assume any team or company whose colors are red and black has some connection? You can't be serious.

[𝙃𝙚𝙡𝙢𝙚𝙩 𝘼𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙩 @HelmetAddict]

I'd put in a bid, but I have enough Jackets, but this Falcons jacket is gorgeous.

[𝙃𝙚𝙡𝙢𝙚𝙩 𝘼𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙩 @HelmetAddict]

@JustMyBit1 @blowingloads28 This is nothing new. The logo has always been paired with the stripes.

[𝙃𝙚𝙡𝙢𝙚𝙩 𝘼𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙩 @HelmetAddict]

That's a nice shade of gold.

[Georgia Tech Football @GeorgiaTechFB]

The home team.

[𝙃𝙚𝙡𝙢𝙚𝙩 𝘼𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙩 @HelmetAddict]

@JPJones1812 I think with some changes the Rivalry uniform could be a great primary for them.

[𝙃𝙚𝙡𝙢𝙚𝙩 𝘼𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙩 @HelmetAddict]

The Pats primary helmet might be the worst helmet in their closet.

[𝙃𝙚𝙡𝙢𝙚𝙩 𝘼𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙩 @HelmetAddict]

Update:the Falcons gave into the silliness and changed their profile picture to just a helmet. Which I have no complaints about obviously, but giving into the mob over an innocent image of your team's logo is disappointing.

Anyone else like to jam out to their copy of the Super Bowl Shuffle on Cassette?

[𝙃𝙚𝙡𝙢𝙚𝙩 𝘼𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙩 @HelmetAddict]

I think my favorite uniforms in the NHL are the red flames uniforms.

[𝙃𝙚𝙡𝙢𝙚𝙩 𝘼𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙩 @HelmetAddict]

@flickerbean_ Doesn't make sense.

[𝙃𝙚𝙡𝙢𝙚𝙩 𝘼𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙩 @HelmetAddict]

At this point they have to be playing a joke on All of us.

[Arizona Cardinals @AZCardinals]

Red on ⬆️ red on ⬇️

[𝙃𝙚𝙡𝙢𝙚𝙩 𝘼𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙩 @HelmetAddict]

Guys, apparently I've been displaying a Nazi flag this whole time and didn't know it.

[𝙃𝙚𝙡𝙢𝙚𝙩 𝘼𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙩 @HelmetAddict]

@Devo662 It really isn't clear, the Falcons have existed for a long time. With the same colors and logo.

[𝙃𝙚𝙡𝙢𝙚𝙩 𝘼𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙩 @HelmetAddict]

@ferruccij Not since they updated the uniforms.

[𝙃𝙚𝙡𝙢𝙚𝙩 𝘼𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙩 @HelmetAddict]

What a missed opportunity with the Jets in throwbacks.

[Miami Dolphins @MiamiDolphins]

Bears wood logo.

[𝙃𝙚𝙡𝙢𝙚𝙩 𝘼𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙩 @HelmetAddict]

Thursday Night Football. Who you rooting for tonight?

[𝙃𝙚𝙡𝙢𝙚𝙩 𝘼𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙩 @HelmetAddict]

@coldhopetoll Since 1966 same as the stripes.

[𝙃𝙚𝙡𝙢𝙚𝙩 𝘼𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙩 @HelmetAddict]

@blowingloads28 They certainly have. This logo is from 1966.
