Now that the latest release has been made with the directive that it be used to address the excruciating pains of the people, Nigerians are looking up to what the Governors will do.

Hitherto, the President, just like other critical stakeholders in the nation, has been worried about the non-release of the earlier disbursed sums into the economy.

We are all aware that beyond the trillions of Naira that have been shared among the tiers of government,which impact the people are not feeling,recently the President is reported to have distributed N30 billion each to the Governors to cushion the impacts of the depressed economy

Be that as it may, my conversation today is briefly on the leadership disposition exhibited by the Lagos State Governor in the dispensation of palliative.

The immediate response from government is palliative. As we all know, this is only transitional and not permanent. It is certainly not sustainable, beyond the reality that governance cannot be based on palliative.
