🚨 NEW: Nigel Farage is being urged to sack Zia Yusuf over concerns he will push Reform further right after the Makerfield defeat
Senior Reform source: "We were definitely spooked by Restore, and I don’t think it was our finest hour"
[@ObserverUK]
@ObserverUK Party insiders have branded Yusuf "trigger happy" and "a big problem"
One senior party source: “Nigel can carry on the Yusufication of Reform, or he can rely on his instincts to keep Tommy Robinson well beyond where Reform stands”

We are deeply saddened to confirm that yesterday the 16:40 EMR service from Corby to London St Pancras was involved in a collision with the 15:50 Nottingham to London St Pancras service at Bedford South.
Tragically, this incident resulted in the fatality of an EMR driver and a number of injuries to passengers on board.
Our thoughts and condolences are with their family, friends and colleagues, as well as everyone else affected by this incident. We are continuing to work closely with Network Rail and the emergency services.
Further updates will be shared on our website.

All day yesterday and today, the far right were spreading misinformation about the identity of the suspect following the incident at the crocodile enclosure. They were hoping he was an immigrant, but police have confirmed that he is white British.
Watch them go quiet all of a sudden.
3 seismic by-elections where the Reform threat was all we heard about.
Caerphilly, Gorton & Denton, Makerfield.
3 times it wasn’t even close. Decent people moved together to the best anti-Reform option & humiliated Farage.
When will our public debate reflect our anti-racist majority?
🚨 MISSING PERSONS APPEAL 🚨
Zia Yusuf, Suella Braverman and Robert Jenrick have not been seen on this platform for over 14 hours.
This is highly unusual behaviour.
They were last observed predicting Labour’s collapse before being introduced to the Makerfield by-election results.
If found, please approach carefully and avoid mentioning Andy Burnham.😂😂😂😂
If we needed anymore evidence that much of what we see on X is fake, these are the Makerfield by election results:
LABOUR: 24,937
REFORM: 15,696
RESTORE: 3,111
CONSERVATIVES: 997
GREEN: 308
Rupert Lowe has over 850,000 "followers" on X - one of the most of any British political figure, all his posts are highly botted with 10,000s of likes. His party barely scraped 3000 votes and have never come close to winning a seat. Not even Rupert's own seat was won as part of Restore.
Faking engagement to convince people of popularity in the manner he does is election fraud. It is also incredibly likely all this is foreign funded, and undeclared - again, election fraud.
So much of what you read on X about UK politics and the UK in general is funded propaganda intended to overthrow the people's elected representation, and replace it with representation that supports elites and grifters whose sole purpose is to serve their own means, and hurt working people. We must continue to fight against this misinformation if we love our country. 🇬🇧
The British people have once again rejected grift and division.
spoke about "splitting the right vote" and wouldn't have even had enough votes COMBINED! 😭😭😭
a reminder that twitter isn't a real place, a loud minority pushed by elon.
BREAKING: Labour's Andy Burnham has won the Makerfield by-election with 24,927 votes.
Reform UK's Robert Kenyon came second with 15,696 votes.

Andy Burnham smashed it. Excellent victory speech. He is a very impressive communicator and quite possibly our last hope of avoiding a far right government.
This could be a huge turning point for Labour.
I hope so.
A married man drove nine hours to meet a woman he met online, only to learn she was a fake profile created by two football fans seeking revenge after a vacation argument.
A Manchester United fan met two Liverpool supporters on holiday in Cancun, argued about football for three weeks, got thrown in the swimming pool, and drove nine hours to Aberdeen to meet a woman who didn't exist.
They made it all the way from Mexico to Sheffield before striking.
Back home, the two Liverpool fans set up a fake social media account for a Scottish woman named Emma and began messaging Stuart Slann, 39, from Sheffield.
After a month of flirtatious emails and texts, Emma invited him to visit her at a remote farm in Aberdeen.
Slann drove nine hours through the night. When he arrived the farm was empty. Emma sent a text saying she was still at work. He waited in his car for three and a half hours.
Then his phone rang.
"Do you recognise our voices, Stuart? It's them Scouse lads who threw you in the pool. Do you recognise our Scouse accents?"
He replied: "Yes I do." They told him: "You've been framed" and burst into laughter.
Slann told the Sheffield Star: "It was a cruel thing to do. If they had asked me to drive to Manchester, Leeds or even Liverpool it wouldn't have been so bad. But Aberdeen was just cruel."
The story has one final, brutal footnote. His wife reportedly left him after discovering he had driven nine hours to meet a woman from the internet.
