Thanks to Pedro and the team at Lancaster University for hosting a HEmS Project Group Meeting on 7th February 2019. Updates were received about the key themes of the project. Participants shared their results and ideas and this stimulated a lot of useful discussions.
Thanks to everyone who attended the HEmS Dislocations meeting that was held on 17th Oct in Oxford. There were some very useful discussions that will feed into our future research.
We note with profound sadness and sorrow the sudden passing, on 2nd Oct 2018, of Prof. Alessandro De Vita, one of the principal investigators of the HEmS project. Our thoughts are with his family at this very difficult time and also with his many friends, students and colleagues
