Tells the story of Confucius’s 14-year journey spreading the ideals of ren (humaneness) and li (ritual order).

🎵This bone flute, over 8,000 years old, was made from the ulna of a crane-like bird and drilled with tone holes. With seven holes capable of producing a seven-tone scale, it is China’s oldest and best-preserved wind instrument. And guess what? It can still be played today!
These two artifacts depict imagined Mayan deities, who live in the Upper World. In Mayan, this realm followed the daily paths of the sun, moon & stars, divided into six on the both side of east and west. One figure shows facial asymmetry in the eyes.#mayacivilization#museum
