Shelby Harris will play the 5T/3T hybrid - a very important role for their hybrid front. I'm not sure what they think of Darius Alexander, but I expect these two to fill that role. Alexander also played a few spots on the line in college at Toledo

Harris is on his last legs but he is an excellent locker room / culture guy who can still give a very solid, high-floor level of play for 25-35 snaps per week.

The last time the Giants drafted multiple offensive linemen was 2022. John Harbaugh makes it happen in his first class as HC. This was coming during his time with the Ravens. The Giants will be a multiple OL per draft type of team in most classes and I’m 100% loving that.

You may or may not like Joe Schoen, but one thing he seems to have a good sense about is when players will go in the draft. We saw this in Hard Knocks, we saw this with the Dart trade, and Harbaugh commented on it yesterday.

John Harbaugh and Joe Schoen were flying high in the presser to announce their first-round picks. They said Arvell Reese was the top non-QB on their board and Francis Mauigoa was No. 4.

They never expected Reese to be there at 5. Their plan is to use him at inside linebacker and weak side linebacker. Raved about Reese's versatility and his fit in Dennard Wilson's flexible defense.

A hybrid linebacker / edge for the second straight year which gives this defensive staff incredible options in all situations. Violence, fast, versatile...and a guy that builds into an NYG identity of being dominant along the defensive front.
