We will shortly be submitting our petition to Barnet Council to remove the “parklet” on Brent Street which has taken up parking spaces for too long and is rarely used. Please sign it - it only takes 30 seconds!

1 week since council elections. @BarnetTories:
HELD every single seat
WON 9 seats from Labour in Whetstone, Brunswick Pk, Childs Hill, High Bnt & East Bnt
WON a seat from Reform in Hendon
INCREASED our majority in Edgwarebury from 42 to >1,500
INCREASED from 19 to 31 cllrs
Honoured to have been re-elected by the residents of Hendon to represent them once again.
Thank you to everyone who placed their trust in me and came out to vote. I’ll keep working hard for local residents and a better Hendon.
Taking a short break this weekend and back on Monday.
Polling stations across Barnet are now OPEN until 10pm. You can find your polling station at https://t.co/Ju6WBq223C. Remember to take ID with you to vote and please use all your votes for your @BarnetTories candidates! 🗳️
Labour is Rubbish for Barnet. 🗑️
They’ve introduced these food waste bins last month for FLats Above SHops (FLASH) which we warned were going to be misused.
Within a month, this is what our high street looks like.
Vote @barnettories TOMORROW to bin Labour for good.
I’m often asked how Labour wastes money in Barnet.
In Hendon today, there are multiple paid adverts telling residents to register by 20 April… but it’s now 3 May.
There is zero oversight of council spend.
Vote @BarnetTories on THURSDAY for stronger financial accountability.
My car was broken into this morning. Glove compartment rifled through, mess made, items stolen.
It’s a horrible feeling, it’s happening EVERY DAY across Hendon, and the police don’t care. If we win Barnet on 7 May, we’ll demand the increased policing our residents urgently need.
Barnet Council will once again be operating a Passover waste collection service along 300+ roads.
Residents on other streets can book a collection by 25th March. There will also be 6 skip collections on 1st April.

Hendon Ward Councillors @CllrPrager and Shimin Ryde will be holding a surgery tomorrow at Hendon Baptist Church Monday 23rd March, 7.30pm. Come and meet your councillors and raise any local concerns.
🚨 BARNET LABOUR'S BUDGET BLACK HOLE EXPOSED! 🚨
Hidden in council papers: massive deficits from £79m (26/27) to over £200m a year by 30/31.
🕳️Cumulative budget black hole? £750 MILLION – over a quarter of core income!
🪫Reserves? Gone.
⚖️Balanced budget? Impossible!

This is exactly what happens when you vote for hard-working local Conservative councillors who truly care about the community and get things done for residents. Small wins like this make such a big difference to our neighbourhood’s heritage and pride.
This past weekend marked the 85th anniversary of Hendon’s most devastating attack in WWII. On 13 Feb 1941 a German bomber flew over Hendon and dropped a 2,400kg bomb on Ravenstone Road (today part of the West Hendon estate). We remember the 85 residents killed and 150+ injured.
