●In a Welcome development, Currently #BEL & Previously IOCL ( Aug 2026) had started recruiting Engineering Officer position on their own test (without GATE score).
●Recruitment based on GATE Score cut-off & 80% weightage, has favored recruitment in favor of candidates from few states like Andhra pradesh & resulting imbalance in PAN India representation.
● This was also resulting obstruction in selecting a right candidate in the absence of Non-Technical Aptitude test for assesing managerial abilities. ●Hope all Government PSUs start switching over to own tests ( Non-GATE) or other modalities.
● More #Karnataka & #Bengaluru guys can apply for PSUs now & clear it.

There should be a defined timeline for commencing passenger operations after CMRS clearance. Formal inauguration can be held later. Every day of delay is estimated to cost BMRCL around Rs 2 cr.

Hennur - Bagalur road

1. This road is one of the busiest road in @NammaBengaluroo
2. There are huge high rises coming up - no clarity if these are properly approved and the GBA / Civic authorities are clueless of what a nightmare it’ll be soon
3. The Govt over the years have been wanting / is committed to making this #Hennur - Bagaluru road an “alternate Airport road” —- what’s preventing it is not yet crystal clear

4. There’s still no time-bound plan to clearing up the current mess
5. Ownership of the work delays seems to be left at the Contractors foot.. no ownership being taken by the GBA - very disappointing

Big disappointment — no thought process yet about a Metro line on this road. KIADB park, Huge IT co’s & Big Uni’s all here already.. time to include this into Phase 4 of #BMRCL

We are taking speedy measures to develop the Baglur-Hennur road, with the aim of reducing traffic congestion and strengthening alternative connectivity to the airport.

Officials have been instructed to complete the white-topping on this road within two months.

However Hennur - Airport via Bagaluru will give higher footfalls & also will be a huge boost to the Industrial / IT cluster & the Educational cluster that’s all coming up on this road
