@Ayanarinashi that's genuenly a lot and something to be proud of for people who strugle mentaly. I could only hope and dream of doing all that in one day insted of doing one of those things per week
@Ayanarinashi With my lack of nationalism and interest in sports in general, I can't bring myself to watch it. I guess the only sport I would be willing to indulge in is ice hockey since its fast paced, but even then I wouldn't watch every match
@Ayanarinashi Since I am a masseur by profession, I highly endorse it; long hot baths can help too. But one must remember that oftentimes massages work more like a treatment than a cure, depending on what is causing the problems
@Ayanarinashi as someone who went to medical school, I have to advise against starvation since it only leads to your body extracting and storing more fat from every food.
eating a lot of times per day, but small portions of food is most efficient
@Ayanarinashi@sosonosonosono Right wing people are happy interacting with it, left wing are rage interacting, nonetheless, a lot of interaction means that Twitter thinks that people want to interact with it.
Or the people in charge of the algorithm are a bunch of degenerates... π
@pykecore My whole point was: for many people, trauma results in an opposite reaction than expected. There are even pedophilia victims who seek a predatory environment and a plethora of other traumatic situations with similar results, which doesn't make them okay in any shape or form
@pykecore yep, I think it is primarily about the fact that if they would try to get better, they would also have to acknowledge and accept the damge/destruction done to them first, so it is easier to follow the path that had been already imposed on them
@pykecore@Richard_Vixen From what I read, I must agree that that's the case for most veterans. But what I am also led to understand is that the heavier the ptsd they have, the more likely they are to be drawn to gunshots, dangerous or even self harming enviroment, rather than camaraderie alone
@Ayanarinashi That's pretty much a constant problem for me, there is a big difference in my mood and functionality when I go outside for at least a few hours every now and then. I even noticed feeling it when I'm on my smoke breaks outside, but on a much smaller scale
