@EEngine93 I typically use a box cutter blade and hammer. Although a hammer has a tendency to bend the front axle and usually a boxcutter and some pressure is enough to take off most wooden railway faces. Older faces are held in by 2 or 4 plastic prongs and Mattel items have one thick tab.
