First tweet in over a year because I'm testing students right now but I NEED to brag on these HHS AP Lit Seniors. This test is TOUGH and they are SHOWING UP. Leaning forward. Annotating the text. I can see kids COUNTING THE METER of the poems. YES! #CuriousAndCriticalThinkers
“Please think of the children first. If you ever have anything to do with their entertainment, their food, their toys, their custody, their child care, their health care, their education—listen to the children, learn about them, learn from them. Think of the children first.”
A role model for me as a teacher and a mother. I am forever grateful to Tonya for her generosity in sharing her teaching strategies in the classroom and her advice about life. We are all so heartbroken at this immense loss for our whole community.
We extend our deepest sympathies to her family and friends, and the vast network of people who love Tonya Eide.
Mrs. Eide, a beloved teacher at @FTHighlandsHS for 24 years, died after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday.
We will miss her immensely and are heartbroken.
