You bottle him up all half. And the. You allow that! He entered that drive with 2rec for 23yds. He will now finish the half with 4 for 92 and a TD. 🤦🏾♂️
C’mon, BENJAMIN! I call Coach Johnson “BENJAMIN” when he gets that deep in his bag. Snap to Dre, handoff to Caleb, missile to Rome. First Down #Bears. They are threatening to seize complete control of the game in this hostile environment.
The #Bears are doing that Time of Possession thing again. It’s currently at about 15mins to 9mins.
If the Defense can get a stop here, understanding that the Bears get the ball back after the Half, there is a chance for some real separation over the next 10mins of game time.
Idk what that last play was, but I can guarantee there isn’t one play on DA’s call sheet that says leave JSN uncovered.
Secondary Coach AL Harris was yelling at Jaylon Johnson and Cam Lewis after the play.
In his first 7 snaps as a Bear, #BigJeff Simmons has 1 sack, 2 tackles, 1 TFL, and 1 QB Pressure.
Somebody tell Poles to send them People another Pick.
The #Bears did what they had to do to calm this Seattle crowd.
The Defense forced a 3&Out.
The Offense, led by a methodical Caleb Williams, drove 80yds for an opening drive TouchDown!
Coach Johnson couldn’t have scripted a better start.

Six different players found the end zone for Kenwood as the Broncos opened the first round of the Class 7A state playoffs with a dominant 46-9 win over Glenbard East.
Glenbard East struck first, taking a 3-0 lead early in the first quarter. It was all gas and no brakes for the Broncos from there.
Kenwood responded with 38 unanswered points, 26 in the first half. Junior wide receiver/ defensive back Dashawn McElrath-Bey kicked it off with an 80-yard TD run, while junior quarterback Malachi Henigan added a 54-yard TD run. Sophomore wide receiver/defensive back Rayshard Warfield got in on the action with a 14-yard TD reception and senior running back Jamarrius Andrus added a 23-yard TD run as the Broncos took a 26-3 lead into halftime.
Kenwood put the game away in the third quarter. Andrus scored his second TD of the evening on a 3-yard run before sophomore running back Kylan Williams broke free for a 32-yard TD, extending the lead to 38-3.
The Broncos defense was just as solid with three interceptions. McElrath-Bey, senior defensive back Dakota Blackmon and junior defensive back Kyle Spears each picked off a pass to keep Glenbard East under wraps.
A statement was made in round one. The road to a state title continues as Kenwood advances to round two where they will hit the road next Saturday November 7, to face the winner of the Edwardsville v Normal matchup.
"It's something he says all the time. Drive the Ferrari. I'm the point guard, the driver of the car. I put the key in, I start the engine, I do all of that. I've gotta run the show and get everybody on one accord." -QB Malachi Henigan on his role as a leader and head coach Chris Goffer's message to him this year
