The gates of Doomstadt opened on their own, which never happened. Doom was already at the tower ledge when Selene stepped through—calm, wrapped in black, like she'd done this a thousand times before. No introduction. No hurry. She just looked up at him and smiled—not friendly, not soft. Like she already knew exactly how this was going to go. Something was coming, and she clearly expected him to be part of it.

@EldritchSystems Doom’s attack did not seem to have affected it gravely but it had managed to agitate it enough for it to counterattack.
