I have been thinking hard about the digital lynching of Jason Ardey for the past couple of days, and I think this is the straw that broke the camel’s back, for me.
I didn’t think I could be radicalised anymore as a intersectional feminist, but here I am.
Black people need to start waking up to the new realities that we are facing in this country. It is time to read and get clued up about how our parents/grandparents/great-grandparents resisted and organised in the mid-late 20th century in the UK.
We have been in this country for too long that we have become too self-absorbed. We have forgotten our roots; having and strengthening our communities will always be our first defence.
Jason Ardey’s untimely death (arguably murder) should radicalise us all.
Don’t you see that we are next? This country will not be satisfied until the rivers and the drains flow with our blood. They hate us. Let’s call a spade a spade.
Let this be the spark that unites us all.
To Jason ❤️
