2/ He brags about a "lean and mean" budget, but he has systematically drained Florida’s financial future. By locking in permanent corporate tax breaks and burning through reserves on over $6 billion in no-bid insider contracts, Alligator Alcatraz , he has narrowed our revenue to a cliff.

3/ When the next governor takes office and faces an immediate deficit, any attempt to fix it will be weaponized.

DeSantis will instantly attack them from his gated enclave for "destroying his legacy," completely hiding the fact that he emptied the vault.

4/ Look at the universal school voucher money pit. By stripping away all income eligibility caps, he committed billions in public tax dollars to fund private tuition for wealthy families. It is a fiscal poison pill already costing taxpayers $5 billion annually.

5/ This program is on an exponential trajectory to bankrupt our public school infrastructure. The next administration is trapped: either let public schools starve, or face a massive political backlash from private lobbyists for trying to rein in the spending.

6/ Then there is the homeowners insurance crisis—one of his most significant campaign revenue streams ( multi millions) the ultimate economic time bomb.

His special sessions did absolutely nothing to cap premiums; they only shielded massive insurance companies from being sued by policyholders while costs shot up to five times the national average.

7/ Beyond the economic wreckage, he has deeply fractured our communities by weaponizing the governor's mansion to wage an endless culture war.

He didn’t govern; he spent eight years systematically stoking division, turning neighbors against each other for national media attention.

8/ This administration normalized hatred by launching relentless political attacks on LGBTQ+ residents, stripping women of basic bodily autonomy with a cruel six-week abortion ban, and labeling anyone who disagreed with him as a radical "leftist."

9/ This is not normal governance. He used the full weight of the state government to bully vulnerable populations, police local classrooms, and silence dissent just to keep himself in power and build a personal brand.

He leaves behind a state that is demonstrably more hostile and deeply divided.

10/ And if a future administration tries to heal these wounds, protect reproductive rights, or restore voting access? He rigged the system to veto them. He packed the Florida Supreme Court with five of its seven sitting justices to act as a permanent judicial blockade against progress.

I sat for a full deposition in 2017, in 2020, and in 2022. The new judge in our case (Federalist Society Cuban-American Angelica Zayas) ruled Miller's attorney can take ANOTHER deposition. This would be the 4th.
