Celebrating the Origins and Future of Italian Golf
1925 – 2026

Held at the historic Golf Club Alpino di Stresa, the course that hosted the first Italian Open in 1925, the second edition of the Herno Pro-Am brought together professionals and amateurs for a day of competition, sportsmanship and shared passion for the game.

Conceived as part of a multi-year initiative promoted by Claudio Marenzi, President of Herno and Golf Club Alpino di Stresa, the event continues to honour the origins of the Italian Open while supporting the players shaping the present and future of Italian golf.

With special thanks to @ROLEX, Official Timekeeper of the event, Nicora 1930, Kaleon,@TerreBorromeo and Ferrari Trento for contributing to the success of this edition.

Herno is proud to partner with @miartMilano for the eleventh edition of the Herno Prize.

Born in 2015, the prize is awarded to the booth presenting the most outstanding exhibition project, shifting the focus from the individual artwork to the context in which it is experienced, with a focus on galleries as spaces of interpretation and narrative. It recognizes the strength of curatorial vision, the spatial dialogue, and the ability to build a coherent and compelling narrative.

For this year’s edition, the jury awarded Mai 36, Zurich, for a project featuring works by Robert Mapplethorpe and Jacopo Benassi, distinguished by the quality of the works and the strength of its intergenerational dialogue.
