@DonaldMurray56 @bbclaurak Absolutely, Donald. 2 words missing in the focus group piece were 'Scotland' and 'Brexit '. Scotland missing, I can understand - we don't matter to any of them, but 'Brexit'? Was it littering the BBC cutting room floor, or have people really swallowed the guff and 'moved on'?
@hombredeescocia@Gordonross45 A fairer, more just country, where we make our own decisions in our best interests. Quite simple really. What I don't understand is why some people feel we're better off being governed by Westminster, and dancing to their tune. Why? Genuine question.
@bellacaledonia More than that, I reckon we're doomed. Just look at the majority of comments on the GJN tweet. Covid, Brexit, Trump and Johnson have given social and political legitimacy to a slew of deniers who, before being collectivised by the Internet, were just voices in the wilderness.
@JamesWa29628370@The_ChrisShaw Here's one for starters: the Tory government. Having honed it's skills in lying and deception on conning the gullible into voting for Brexit, it transferred those skills into fucking the country and our global standing.
@theredcitroen @Haggis_UK Vet here: How do you know it causes them pain rather than simply alarm? You're implying that an act of wilful cruelty might be perpetrated rather than something they can be simply trained to tolerate.
@HI_Voices Bas relief of Lenin, washed up on Badentarbet beach when the Klondykers filled Lochbroom. 5 years later I found the back of his head on a beach on one of the Summer Isles.
@HI_Voices Don't listen to all this 'sterilisation' nonsense - the tradition in Somerset, I'm told, was to chuck a cockerel in with apples into the cider press to seed the fermentation. Perhaps you knew this, and if so do we need to hear about the role the ferret may have played?
@KirstyS_Hughes What would be the outcome for Scotland if the Brexit referendum had been run under the full adoption of Brown's proposals? Would our 60% Remain vote suddenly carry any weight?
So, the innate greed and self-interest of Tory MPs fearing their seats is denying the country a GE, trashing our economy and international standing. So why not just pay each of the blighters £10 million if they lose their seats? An excellent investment for the economy.
@iain528@scotgov@NicolaSturgeon You're not even comparing apples with pears, more like apples with acorns. The 'apparent' virus is a virus, why say apparent? And there is a treatment for Lyme Disease (which is not caused by a virus) - doxycycline is the antibiotic of choice.
@BBCGaryR@SustAviation Well done trying to pin him down but what a slippery, weasel worded, complacent attitude he had - I'm not holding my breath waiting for anything significant coming out of that industry group.
