⛔️CBS News is slamming reports that “60 Minutes” correspondent Lesley Stahl is on “the brink of quitting” after CBS News chief Bari Weiss allegedly meddled with her report on Israeli settlers attacking Palestinians in the West Bank:

• “This is a ludicrous, twisted narrative,” a CBS News spokesperson said. “All ‘60 Minutes’ pieces go through a famously rigorous editorial process, which includes edits from editors. This piece received far fewer edits than most.”

• Given the “pro-Israel” positions of both Weiss and David Ellison, who last week closed the merger of Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery, the report claimed Stahl’s piece “caught some observers by surprise.”‼️
