@chiefkittenme @chiefkittenme 2. It's a real control layer, not just a viewer — every file write + shell command pauses for a one-tap approve/deny on your phone. And it's yours: open-source core (MIT), self-hostable relay, E2E encrypted so the relay can't read your traffic.

1. Agent + model agnostic — drives Claude Code AND Codex, and you can point them at third-party or local LLMs (LiteLLM / Bedrock / Vertex). Built-in Remote Control is Claude-only, needs a paid Max/Pro plan, and doesn't support API keys.

@chiefkittenme @chiefkittenme Great question — yeah, I've used it! Anthropic's Remote Control is nice if you live in Claude Code and just want to check a session from your phone.
AgentD's a different thing though — less "Claude on mobile," more a control plane for any agent 👇

Yeah — approvals/notifications are an optional layer; you can still drive the agent live through chat.

On idle time: risk-tiered approvals (low auto-runs), a Session button to skip repeat prompts, tap-to-answer clarifications, and per-agent permission modes.

Agent only wakes you when needed.
