@ReformSlytherin “Yes ma’am, we will have it to you by dinner tonight.”
Ginny gave the headmistress a soft smile, one that was still genuine.
“Thank you for allowing us to try this system out.”
It was the start of a new school year, though the redhead felt like she hadn’t left after helping with the repairs to the building and grounds from the ‘Battle of Hogwarts’ as everyone is now calling it, but here she was, boarding the train to her seventh and final year —
@ReformSlytherin “Thank you professor, we want this to be a new reign at Hogwarts, and bring peace, never to let these children fear another blood war.”
@ReformSlytherin “It would only be for repeat offenders. The first time they get detention, second time they have to spend 48 hours in the offending dorm. Third time it’s a week. And if it happens for the fourth time then until the end of term.”
@ReformSlytherin “It’s the first day back and we’ve already had to break up fights over the houses.
Coming off of a civil war that is not the way to go. We expect Quidditch rivals and all that but this was an attack for no reason other than one was in Slytherin the other Gryffindor.”
@ReformSlytherin Ginny made her way to sit over at the headmistresses desk, nodding to the portraits of Dumbledore and Snape. “Draco. Did you know Professor Snape had a portrait up here?”
@ReformSlytherin The former transfiguration teacher looks up from her paperwork seeing both of her head students standing there.
“Come, I’ll be with you in a minute. I have to send this off first.” She said
@ReformSlytherin “You were 12, you had no say in the matter.”
As they reached the Griffin she turned and said the password. “Ginger Newt.”
Watching as it slid to the side.
@ReformSlytherin “It was a diary your father slipped into my cauldron, the day he and my dad got into a fight in Diagonal Alley, you called me Potters Girlfriend.”
She wouldn’t tell him that she was already checking him out that day.n
@ReformSlytherin "I think I might have been the only Gryffindor he ever told that too. But I will always remember it."
She couldn't believe that out of all the professors nobody noticed anything but Professor Snape that year.
@ReformSlytherin “He pulled me aside after class, noticed my grades seem to be dropping from the beginning of the year, as well as my ability to focus. Told me if I was being bullied and needed to talk his door was open. I guessed at the time that he was playing his job as a head of house.”
@ReformSlytherin “Thank you.” She motions to the door before reaching back for his hand to give it a reassuring squeeze. “Again I’m sorry for your loss. I feel it so.”
@ReformSlytherin “I didn’t know that. I’m sorry for your loss.”
And honestly she was, she may have been terrified of him as first and second year but nobody deserved that tragic of a passing.
@ReformSlytherin “I didn’t know. I never knew if you reported anything to her as deputy head. If it was interhouse related I usually did.”
She shrugged her shoulders.
“Less scary then professor Snape in my opinion.”
@ReformSlytherin “I don’t really remember McGonagall having a password that didn’t relate to either her favorite biscuit, or to transfiguration in some way.”
@ReformSlytherin “Yeah it’s her favorite cookie. Ginger Snap. She tries to make it easy for anyone to come to her.”
She started making her way up the grand staircase.
@ReformSlytherin "Sure. I don't she why she wouldn't agree to it. Especially in light of everything that happened in the last few years."
The redhead adjusted her bag over her shoulder so it was more comfortable.
@ReformSlytherin “I have Ancient Runes at second hour. She has third years for the first hour. Apparently there was a misprint on half of the 7th year schedules.”
