@maxblackhole @7NewsSydney @Riley7News Scotland and Germany are both around or over 50% nuclear/fossil. Germany, like Australia, burns a lot of coal. A robust energy mix is a good plan, Australia should be able to do more with renewables, but nuclear is a good option to consider to replace baseload coal.

Fukushima big concern but 40+yr old design showing robustness. Today's designs have passive cooling using gravity - which dont break down.
