I am happy to share that I have joined Samaaro as a Product Engineer. It's been a month of ups and downs looking for the right role after my career break, and I am grateful to finally start this new chapter. Excited to get back to building and learning again.

The no-show rate is the least useful number in your post-event report.
Not because it is wrong. Because it is an average, and the thing it averages over is a group you could name, find, and fix.
Which group would you check first?

I’ve stopped trusting attendance numbers.
If attendance is a guess, so are engagement, cost per attendee, and pipeline.
At a 15,000-person forum, we captured every attendee at entry instead of estimating later.
How we pulled it off is in the comments👇
I've realized that life truly blossoms when we learn to release the past. Letting go of old memories and certain people can be incredibly freeing. It's all about growth 🌱, self-discovery 🌟, and embracing what's next.

At the same time, working on legacy tech reminded me how important it is to know the basics, only then do we truly appreciate the comfort modern tools give us.
End of the day → whether old or new, the goal is simple: build solutions that work and make life easier.
Sometimes, old tech gives you the newest lessons.
Recently, I worked on a legacy project using EJS.
Till now, most of my projects were with modern frameworks and libraries, so this was a fresh challenge. And honestly, it gave me a new perspective.
I realised why frameworks/libraries exist in the first place, to reduce developer tension, save time, and let us focus on solving real problems instead of reinventing everything from scratch.
👋 Excited to welcome Prathamesh Lakhapati as Product Engineer at Samaaro!
He’s diving into our Event Marketing Tech to build impactful features.
Fun fact: he’s a 90s Bollywood fan who’d pick Aati Kya Khandala for karaoke. 🚀

Today, we’re deprecating Create React App for new apps, and encouraging existing apps to migrate to a framework.
We’re also providing docs for when a framework isn’t a good fit for your project, or you prefer to start by building a framework.
