I hope one day you meet a trans person and get to know them. There’s a vast difference between straight cisgender men and trans folk.

No one is trying to erase women. We want to celebrate and love women, keep them safe. Focus on things with higher rates of abuse to women 🤷

Trans women are equally as likely to be attacked/abused by men as non-trans women. How many women do you know personally who have been attacked by a trans woman? How many by men? There’s no comparison.

If you took two groups of the same size, one trans the other not, the rate of suicide is higher in trans folk. When you say women shouldn’t have to give up their safe spaces, you’re absolutely right. 1/2

@breckshit @VicklePickles @L__G__B @jk_rowling It’s life saving medical care. Suicide rates amongst trans people are much higher than those of non-trans folk. When a person feels more at peace with their body, depression and dysphoria reduces.

@VicklePickles @breckshit @L__G__B @jk_rowling Trans people have to lose weight before having surgery too, it lowers the risk of complications. Sorry you’re having trouble waiting to get essential healthcare, there are many out there like you - trans people included.
