Let me tell you the story first. My wife was diagnosed with stage four cancer four years ago when she fell outside our gates and received a spiral fracture to her left femur. When the surgeons went in to fix it, the found the bone was riddled with cancer. Further examination showed masses of cancer in her lung.
She had the usual rounds of chemo and radiation for such conditions.
That was about four years ago. Yesterday, the new scan results came back, and with nothing done but the initial treatments I mentioned, this one came back showing only one small lymph node 'possibly' cancerous. Everything else is gone! Gone!
The next scan will be in three months and the prognosis is excellent. PRAISE GOD!
I believe that the cumulative prayers you and others have sent up are, in large part, what is saving my wife's life. Thank you, Jesus.

A woman has just given birth.

Everybody is happy. Then suddenly, she starts bleeding.

This is postpartum haemorrhage, and when it happens, no one has time to ask where the drug, tranexamic acid or TXA is.

That drug, Tranexamic acid can help reduce deaths from bleeding when it is given early after PPH starts.

So if a facility is providing emergency obstetric care, TXA should not be something they start looking for when the emergency has started.

It should be there.

As a man, if your wife is preparing to give birth, ask if the facility has TXA available. Same thing if you’re pregnant and preparing for delivery.

Ask questions. Know what is available.

Prepare before the emergency comes.
