Two contracts were awarded to modernize the CH-149 Cormorant helicopter fleet to ensure continued support to SAR operations. Our current fleet will be upgraded to the most advanced version of the helicopter and will allow us to increase our fleet size from 13 to 16 aircraft.

It was with great sadness that we learned that Second World War fighter pilot ace, Wing Commander James Francis “Stocky” Edwards, passed away on Saturday, May 14th. Stocky Edwards was 100 years old.
