Want design clients? It's easier than you think.
1. Design a subscription site (like Designjoy).
2. Design 10 concepts in Figma (this is your portfolio).
3. Build site in Framer or Webflow (use Stripe for payments).
4. Set up a simple 3 column Trello board for clients to submit needs through (backlog, current request, approved).
4. Make your starting price $2,500 per month (the key is starting low to attract clients towards trying you out).
5. Distribute your site however you can (Twitter, ads, groups, etc.). This is the only hard part & may take time.
6. Do this until you land a few clients.
7. Do the work and get used to the system.
8. Replace concept work in your portfolio with the real work you've done for previous clients.
8. Once you've established yourself a bit, add $1k/m to your price tag.
9. Repeat last step until you're satisfied with the amount of work/clients you have.
This is the EXACT formula I used for Designjoy.
Sure, it's far more nuanced this what's described above, but generally speaking, this the way.
@TheEricGraham Welcome back, Eric! Anyway, the login page of the Ultimate Conversion Transformation is no longer working. Could you please check on this?
This summit is worth attending! 🎩It's Lurn Summit 2.0, and Robert Kiyosaki will be one of the keynote speakers.
The ticket costs only $1! https://t.co/f03HUvScp0
