I’m aware Molson, Ive been following you for years, Indonesia can beat anyone on cost estimates. And for some products, the quality won’t be noticeable enough to matter.
Daikin did open a massive factory in West Java, I bought a Daikin AC unit Indonesian made 2 weeks ago. Let’s see how it compares with my 1 year old Thai made one.
You do have more data than I do of course. My opinion is solely based on experiences living in Indonesia

@jasonfried Very true, but it also depends on where you are. I’m also dealing right now with a real estate deal in remote Indonesia and 3-5 days can turn into weeks if you don’t grease the wheels accordingly

@jessethanley @marckohlbrugge I agree with this as well. I don’t understand why anyone would want to sleep 8 hours a day or a third of their lives away. 6 hours is the number that work for me. 8 hours and I feel more tired through the day and more disconnected with my thoughts.
