She is not elusive. She lives in the world and gets lost in the desert and at sea. She’s not running from you.
She is just running. Embracing every ounce of life as it comes her way. Fully.
She is not yours, his, or anyone else’s. She is of the world and belongs to it alone.
And maybe that's what everyone is looking for... Someone who's outlook on life is similar enough to their own, that they don't feel completely alien when they're with that person... Someone who effortlessly "gets it"...
The flowers bloom bigger and brighter when she’s around. Yes, she brings the rain sometimes. But, she also brings the Spring... in your step and in the flowers.
She seemed like a ray or sunshine because you were even heavier and blinder than she was.
In retrospect, she’s always been a bit of a pessimistic, self-righteous prune... And you see that now because you’ve opened up your eyes to you and your surroundings.
I think the issue here is that you haven’t been to The Levant enough times... You wouldn’t be such a sad and angry fighter if you’d allowed yourself to fall in love with The Mediterranean Sea... Not everything is a fight, most things actually ebb and flow... #ChildhoodBestFriend
It isn’t you she loves. It’s the idea of you. Anyone else with your name or another, with your qualities or others... would tickle her fancy all the same. She’s in love with an idea.
I’m just not as interested anymore.
Your story, your life, your hopes, dreams, ambitions and aspirations... Are not as noble as I had imagined. And there’s no room for anyone to share them with you or even be a passenger on your journey.
I’ll be off at the next stop.
Thank you.
