@its_adamneely @MusicOfLee I see what you mean. I meant that white/colored text has been common for a long time. Ads, TV, birthday cards, etc. More common than colored sheet music.

I agree that dark mode sheet music has a ways to go. e.g. Text has fonts designed around dark mode, sheet music doesn’t yet.

@its_adamneely @MusicOfLee I’m not sure if one way is better than the other, but we don’t use black notes on a white background because it’s better. It’s because we grow up learning from books and sheets of paper. Paper is usually white, and printers rarely have white ink. It’s just what we’re used to.
