I Wish I Can Give You An Answer by Kecia Romiel (@kecromiel)
A jaded therapist, while helping their clients reconcile with life during a global pandemic, must come to grips with their own emotional burnout.
I normalize high self esteem around me. There’s no need to dim your greatness in my presence or apologize for knowing your worth. Confidence doesn’t threaten me, it inspires me. Secure people make room for other secure people to shine.🤝✍️
A stranger approached me & asked if her outfit was see through or stained b/c everyone keeps staring at her. Me: “Nope, You’re fine. You look cute. They’re staring b/c you look good”. Forever reminding the girlies to embrace it.
it is an unwritten rule of life that after every prolonged period of hardship and uncertainty, there is going to be a period when you are going to achieve quantum leaps across multiple areas of your life. the only requirement is that you do not give up on yourself.
I'm at a point in my life where I pray to keep meeting the right people. People who genuinely want the best for me, hold me in high regard, and add peace to my life.
People may disappoint you, but God never will. Let your trust be rooted in Christ, and He will give you the wisdom to love others without losing your peace.
You've got to get almost annoyingly serious about trusting yourself. You heard what you heard. You saw what you saw. You felt what you felt. Your body is speaking to you. Believe it.
