"lol who tf's Trudeau, my friend said you were Brad or Ryan or Brent or something" / I am in the band Shelter Dogs, and I am the band Women's Basketball
I've logged into Twitter twice in the past week and reported an undisclosed "political/issue" ad in my feed both times. EDIT: Three times for two sessions
Hey, Twitter is still rotting fruit wrapped in used toilet paper! Plz follow my band Shelter Dogs on FB (https://t.co/ybSL2kybjy) for mad gig alerts and the latest our very ripping EP "Crashing a Party With...," out May 31 on King Pizza Recs OOOOOOOH
Anyway if anyone still follows me on this thing (haha there are like 3 of you) I’m going to be deleting Twitter from my phone bc there is no place for creative people on Twitter in 2018
As Philip Levine said in one of my fave poems of his, “You can have it.” I need to write. When I want to become enraged, I’ll read the news. Don’t need to waste my attention on thousands of Twitterers acting like they understand “the news” better than everyone else
In the place of interesting creative voices, we mostly have trolls and egomaniacs dominating every discussion. Total distraction from any creative work
I joined Twitter bc it seemed like an interesting challenge to communicate in compelling bite-sized pieces. However in 2018 the only creative people who can use Twitter as a viable platform for communication are already superstars
@NotJohnHubinger You got this, my dude! I bought my last pack a bit over a year ago and I feel amazing. Um smoking a lot more weed might help if that’s a thing you don’t mind
Today at band practice I learned that if you want to give your bandmates instructions, it helps to hold a copy of Bruce Springsteen's "The River" LP in front of your face and speak in a faux Bruce voice
