Syerleena Abdul Rashid should resign from the parliament select committee on women, children and community development for her disgusting remarks blaming rape victims, including underaged girls who cannot consent to sex.

An MP who doesn’t understand statutory rape doesn’t belong to a parliament committee on women and children.

As it is, rape victims have such a hard time in the criminal justice system.

Now, an MP is alleging that rape victims make false accusations and “destroy men’s lives” because they got their hearts broken.

Does the victim’s lifelong trauma not matter?

This is one of the most appalling things I’ve seen coming from a politician. And it’s a woman MP, from DAP, at that.

Dasar kawalan sempadan Malaysia - iaitu duti, sekatan, kuota, prosedur kastam, penguatkuasaan piawaian - kena ikut dasar USA pada masa depan.

"𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐥𝐞 𝟐.𝟏𝟐.𝟏: No Party shall contest at the WTO a measure adopted by the other Party to rebate or to refrain from imposing direct taxes in relation to exports from that Party."

Malaysia kehilangan kebebasan dan hak untuk cabar keputusan USA di World Trade Organization (WTO).

"𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐥𝐞 𝟑.𝟑: Malaysia shall consult with the United States before entering into a new digital trade agreement with another country that jeopardizes essential U.S. interests."

Kenapa Malaysia kena rujuk dengan USA sebelum kita tandatangan perjanjian sektor digital dengan negara-negara lain?

"𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐥𝐞 𝟓.𝟏.𝟏. If the United States imposes a customs duty, quota, prohibition, fee, charge, or other import restriction on a good or service of a third country and considers that such measure is relevant to protecting the economic or national security of the United States, the United States intends to notify such measure to Malaysia for the purpose of economic and national security alignment.

Upon receiving such notification from the United States, Malaysia shall adopt or maintain a measure with equivalent restrictive effect as the measure adopted by the United States or agree to a timeline for implementation that is acceptable to both Parties, to address a shared economic or national security concern, guided by principles of goodwill and a shared commitment to enhancing bilateral relations between the United States and Malaysia."

Walaupun Menteri beri alasan kata kunci ialah "shared" atau ancaman ekonomi yang dikongsi bermakna Malaysia tak perlu ikut USA untuk kenakan sekatan ke atas negara ketiga jika ancaman itu hanya pada USA dan bukan pada Malaysia, USA boleh kata ekonomi Malaysia sangat bergantung kepada USA dan apa ancaman terhadap USA juga adalah ancaman terhadap Malaysia.

Maka Malaysia harus bertindak demi menjaga hubungan bilateral antara USA dan Malaysia seperti dalam klausa.

Malah dari segi legal, ianya jelas dalam klausa tersebut bahawa "shared concern" itu hanya penjelasan kenapa klausa ini dibuat - bukan jalan keluar bagi Malaysia untuk tidak patuh.

"𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐥𝐞 𝟓.𝟑.𝟑. If Malaysia enters into a new bilateral free trade agreement or preferential economic agreement with a country that jeopardizes essential U.S. interests, the United States may, if consultations with Malaysia fail to resolve its concerns, terminate
this Agreement and reimpose the applicable reciprocal tariff rate set forth in Executive Order 14257 of April 2, 2025."

USA boleh halang Malaysia daripada tanda tangan pernjanjian perdagangan atau ekonomi dengan negara-negara lain jika USA rasa pejanjian itu menjejaskan kepentingan USA.

"𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐥𝐞 𝟓.𝟐.𝟑: Malaysia shall explore the establishment of a mechanism to review inbound investment for national security risks, including in connection with critical minerals and critical infrastructure, consistent with widely accepted international best practices, and shall cooperate with the United States on matters related to investment security.

Kenapa Malaysia kena rujuk pada USA sebelum menerima apa-apa pelaburan dalam sektor strategik seperti projek infrastruktur dan nadir bumi?

1. The Government seems happy with the deal they have negotiated with Trump.

2. What is the deal? In return for the U.S. reducing the tariff from 25% to 19%, Malaysia is abolishing all taxes on 11,000 U.S. products entering Malaysia.

3. And the Prime Minister has stated that Malaysia will supply the U.S. with rare earth.

4. Now rare earth as rare earth fetches little money. It is only 5% of the total value of the material. Malaysia should process the rare earth and extract the elements in it because the return would be as much as 30 times higher than just rare earth.

5. Why is Malaysia so stupid as to accept only 5% of the value when we can get many times more.

6. As far as the 11,000 products are concerned, we are abolishing 100% of our tax. For this we only get a reduction in U.S. tariff of only 6% (from 25% to 19%). That is not a good deal.

1. Anwar Ibrahim, the tenth Malaysian Prime Minister is an amazing liar.

2. He stated in Jakarta “But if they themselves admit – not as an accusation but as a declaration – that ‘I(Mahathir) or my son own RM1.2 billion, and another one RM4 billion’, then the money must be returned. “You must pay it back, unless you can clearly explain where the funds came from”. I never admitted and I have explained where my wealth came from.

3. Where does he get all these figures and statements? His Chief Commissioner of MACC had carried out full investigation and has stated that “Mokhzani declared assets are worth around RM1 billion while Mirzan declared RM246.2 million to the MACC.

4. And the Chief Commissioner Azam Baki, stated SPRM (MACC) was satisfied (berpuas hati) with the declaration made by Mokhzani and Mirzan as given above.|

5. Was Azam Baki satisfied without knowing the sources of this wealth. The MACC questioned my sons many times, each time for many hours. Did MACC ask about the sources of the wealth as declared.

6. Azam Baki did not talk about cash. He was talking about the value of the wealth of the two. These were made up of property, shares, liabilities etc. which were acquired during 20 years plus of doing business. Such properties appreciate in value over time.

7. The MACC did not state that the sources are “unclear or illegitimate”. The MACC and Azam Baki cannot state they are satisfied “if the declarations are unclear or illegitimate”.

8. Why should I or my sons admit to something that is not true. I or my sons never declared we own the RM1.2 billion or 4 billion. The MACC said we declared that Mokhzani wealth is worth RM1 billion and Mirzan wealth is worth RM 246.2 million. And the MACC is satisfied with the declaration.

9. Is Anwar demanding that we sell all our property and give the proceed to the Government. On what ground is he making this demand.

10. As for the demonstration on 26 July, it was not about supporting me or my sons. The people are asking Anwar to step down. They don’t want him because his being PM has caused a lot of misery among the people. If he doesn’t believe the people don’t want him as Prime Minister, he should dissolve Parliament and hold a General Election. It is not the members of Parliament who demonstrated. So a motion in Parliament is irrelevant.
