Camp 4 extension with elephant watchtower in #Bangladesh. #Rohingya refugee camps were built on elephants' migratory routes and there have been cases of animals damaging shelters and injuring people there.
Quite striking inside shelters in #Rohingya refugee camps in Cox's Bazar is lack of decorations and very few elements of personalization of space. This could simply be due to fact that people have only been living there for a year, and also their economic situation is very dire.
