@IKEACanada This Hemnes dresser is a terrible product. DO NOT BUY. After assembly most of the drawers don't open and close correctly. Customer service say can't do anything because we bought it over a year ago, stored it in boxes in spare bedroom and only assembled it now @IKEA
I was holding a bottle of Paul Newman salad dressing when my niece asked me who Paul Newman was. I told her he was an actor, basically the Brad Pitt of my mom’s generation. Then she hit me with, “Who’s Brad Pitt?”
If anyone needs me, I’ll be at the senior center eating applesauce.

In 1876, Bannister won first prize at the Philadelphia Centennial, but once the judges realized he was Black, they denied him entry. His white competitors, however, upheld the decision, making him the first Black man to win a U.S. national arts award.

A Message to Elon Musk @elonmusk and DOGE from a Mother of a boy named Max.
Please at least give it a read and reconsider haphazardly freezing funding on important government programs:
"Elon, this perfect little boy is my son Max. He's not a parasite. He's pure joy. Love radiates from him, and he has a smile for everyone he meets. He was born with a rare genetic form of leukodystrophy called TBCD that is usually fatal by five years of age.
We were filled with hope when the researcher our patient advocacy group has been working with at Nationwide Children's Hospital was awarded with an R01 grant from the NIH after our community pooled our resources to fund the first phase of her research to apply for it. Last year, she showed us some of her work in the lab that PROVED there was a pathway to a treatment.
It was just a few cells in a dish. My son's neural cells -- cured.
Right now, her funds are frozen. The grant that was providing hope for a future for these children with a condition so rare that private pharma would never have any interest in creating a treatment is what you're fighting to slash funding for. You might as well be slashing my kid's throat.
Any delay in bringing this from the bench to the bedside WILL kill children in our community - and you're laughing on X and calling them parasites?
Shame on you."
honestly Canada’s best defense against invasion is the fact that this administration would definitely invade Minnesota by mistake, forget to bring winter coats, fire all the support staff and then forget what they came for
I bought gas at @petrocanada this morning. Constant flow of cars stopping to fill up at same PetroCan while I was there. Had to update my #PetroCan app at the cash but now all set up for fillup today and in future #tariffwar#BuyCanadian
Gas: I have been filling up at Esso for years. Going to miss the points and Timmie's drive thru. But time to switch back to Petro-Canada. Don't just focus on groceries.
