that's not particularly relevant here.
a batted ball that contacts any part of a batter that is in in the batter's box is ruled foul, even if the ball itself is in fair ground before and/or at time of contact with the batter.
the question here is whether the batter has left the box, which is tough from this lousy angle. if either foot is completely out of the box, the batter is considered to out of the box. keep in mind, the entirety of the line is "in", and any part of a foot touching the line is considered in.
