At approximately 3:30 this morning, #HFD crews from #bshift responded to a structural fire on the east side of Hialeah. Upon arrival, fire crews encountered smoke and flames coming from the property of the residence. Fire personnel were able to extinguish the fire w/o incident.

On Wednesday #HFD crews 🚒from responded to a commercial fire involving a shopping plaza on the west side of #hialeah. Fire crews were able to extinguish the fire without incident and prevent the fire from spreading to adjacent businesses.The fire is currently under investigation

Recently #HFD conducted Driver/ Engineer training for fire personnel. The driver engineer is responsible for driving the apparatus and maintaining and operating the fire pump and aerial ladder. This position is expected to be the fire company’s expert on the fire apparatus.
