@AngelaPsyched giving a great talk on her guidelines for communicating an MS misdiagnosis today. Also a chance to advertise our prospective study recruiting cases of MS misdiagnoses across 7 UK centres and open now... Sadly a clinical problem that needs addressing!
We are very proud and grateful to be recognised for this amazing award! Congratulations to the whole team on all of your hard work! 3 brilliant achievements for our team❤️🩷

Great to see published and to be part of this, growing testament to how treatments influence measurable outcomes. Any treatment is better than no treatment in the majority. https://t.co/1SpLRhTQQa
Collaboration of UK #MultipleSclerosis centers showed a very low contemporary relapse rate, comparable with recent clinical trials. We seem to have managed to control relapses well. The next goal is symptom management and prevention of disability. @mssocietyuk @drgillianingram
How common are multiple sclerosis relapses in the modern era with high-efficacy disease modifying therapy? According to this study in the UK, very rare with an average of 1 per 20 years (ARR = 0.05). Most relapses in people off meds. https://t.co/EE6yuDzwq4
Had my first MRI as a healthy participant in the SpINDLE study. Anyone in the East Midlands area with a few spare hours I would recommend this study. Time & travel reimbursed, important neurology research and run by an enthusiastic and professional team

Very happy to see our work published in @MSJ_Research! Worse disability reported in MS patients with iron rim lesions on an initial 7T scan, after a clinical follow up of 9 years. Particularly worse disability in patients with ≥4 IRL https://t.co/miZniqKG2O
Excited to start rescanning some of these patients over the next few months with thanks to @SPMIC_UoN and @NUHCharity support to compare iron rim evolution after more than 10 years 👏🏼 @ResearchNuh
